I read the last post and already knew that the ideas presented were to simple.

I am too simple. Many consumers have been pressuring Nike for example, so there is some consumer awareness. But on the other hand, why boycott China at this junction.

They NEED the cash flow. OK. several billion in dollar reserve is a bit excessive.

I don't really understand how a country "sterilizes" this cash influx to curb inflation and investment mania. I am only a simple biochemist with no real grasp of international finance.

If there is enough consumer demand for products made with low environmental and low human health impact then the manufacturing market will improve in China.

It will NEVER shift back to the US. Please forget this idea. It will never happen, fortunately because it is a very bad idea.
