Negligent

I feel negligent tonight.
I haven't posting here much have I?
Been posting pictures over at Flickrs though. Taking too much time.

I know your out there with me. All of you who keep your mouth shut and your hands busy.

It's fun being in Boulder. You meet the dogmatic conservative AND the dogmatic liberal.
Both get people killed. Mostly the middle people like me and you. OK... just you.

You know what? Awareness makes all the difference.
If you are damned to Hell, but aren't aware of it, where's the suffering?
On the other hand, if you are down there in the ninth circle and know this, you can't suffer.
The paradox of the absurd? If I know my torment will last for eternity then I can find happiness in that existence. Certainty is more valued than uncertainty to some.

Course, the other side of the coin has already been explored by the Twlight Zone. Man finds himself in what he thinks is Heaven. But slowly he realizes that there is no uncertainty. Just an eternity of getting absolute certainty. Where's the fun in gambling? In women?

Can happiness still be found even in the absolute certainty?
In that brief respite at the top of the hill, is there happiness? i think so.

I don't think there is Damnation/Absolute Certainty. Just Purgatory. Purgatorio Bene.
