Moscow is COLD!

Moscow in January was cold—very cold. The coldest it has been, in fact, since the winter of 1978-79. That season temperatures dropped to -38ºC (-36ºF); this winter’s frost was not far behind, with thermometers measuring -31º on January 19th.
